SEG Challenge Bowl : en route pour Calgary...

La Société géophysique de Québec (SEG Student chapter) en partenariat avec le congrès Québec Mines + Énergie est fier d’accueillir la 2e édition québécoise du concours international de la SEG (Society of Exploration Geophysicists): le Challenge Bowl.

Il s’agit d’un jeu-questionnaire où s’affrontent des étudiants universitaires. En équipe de deux, les participants sont appelés à répondre à des questions à choix multiples faisant appel à leurs connaissances en géophysique et en sciences de la Terre. L’équipe gagnante représentera le Québec en finale canadienne à Calgary, avec la chance de participer par la suite au championnat mondial aux États-Unis.

Prendre note que la compétition se déroule en anglais.

The Quebec Geophysical Society (SEG Student chapter) in partnership with the Québec Mines + Énergie conference is proud to host the 2nd edition of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) International Competition: the Challenge Bowl.

This is a trivia game in which university students compete. In teams of two, participants are asked to answer multiple-choice questions using their knowledge of geophysics and earth sciences. The winning team will represent Quebec in the Canadian final in Calgary, with the chance to eventually participate in the World Championship in the United States.

Note that the competition is held in English.
