The 5th International HydroGeoSphere User Conference (June 8-11, 2020)
Université Laval, Québec, QC Canada
====
Over the last decade, integrated surface-subsurface hydrological models have been increasingly used to simulate and quantify fluid flow and mass transport. A variety of numerical codes, such as HydroGeoSphere (HGS), MIKE-SHE, OpenGeosys (OGS), Parflow and others, have been created to address problems ranging from point to continental scales.
Building upon a series of previous HGS user conferences in Liège, Hannover, Neuchatel and Bayreuth, the fifth HGS user conference will be hosted by Laval University, Canada from the 8th-11th of June, 2020. The conference is entitled “HydroGeoSphere: Fully-Integrated Simulation of Coupled Surface and Subsurface Flow and Transport Processes” and will focus on the latest research and developments in the fully-integrated simulation of hydrologic systems from the HGS user community and beyond.
The objectives of the conference are to:
A one-day workshop on the use of HGS for hydrologic modelling will be held on the final day of the conference.
