Voter pour élire une étudiante de l'INRS à l'Assemblée des gouverneurs de l'UQ

L'Assemblée de gouverneurs de l'Université du Québec tient actuellement un scrutin pour désigner un des deux membres étudiants. Les étudiants des universités du Québec sont ainsi appelés à voter entre le 26 février et le 2 mars (jusqu'à 16 h) pour désigner ce représentant. L’Assemblée des gouverneurs est composée du président de l’université, des recteurs de chacune des constituantes, de divers autres représentants et de deux membres étudiants.

Fait rare, l'INRS compte cette année une candidate parmi les 8 suggérés : Sokhna Dieng Ndiaye, étudiante au doctorat en sciences de l'eau, est également la seule femme du lot. 

En plus de travailler à son doctorat, Sokhna est également trésorière de l’Association étudiante (AECETE) depuis 2016. Elle a aussi été membre du Comité organisateur du congrès étudiants ETE 2017 et du Comité d’évaluation des demandes pour les prix voyage de l’AECETE pendant 3 sessions.

The Assembly of Governors of Université du Québec is holding an election to choose one of its two student members. Université du Québec students are invited to vote for their representative between February 26th and March 2nd (until 4 pm). The Assembly of Governors consists of the president of the Université du Québec, the chancellors of the member universities, several other representatives, and two student members.

Rare fact, one of the 8 student candidates is from the INRS: Sokhna Dieng Ndiaye, PhD student in Water Science, also the only woman of the group.

Besides working on her PhD, Sokhna is also treasurer of the Student Association (AECETE) since 2016. She was also a member of the organizing committee of the 2017 ETE Student Conference and she has been a member of the evaluation committee for the AECETE travel awards for 3 semesters.

Students are encouraged to vote in large numbers.
