Three Minute Thesis : les finalistes du Centre ETE

Trois étudiantes du Centre Eau Terre Environnement, Danielle Frechette, Mitra Naghdi et Amal Hmaissia, ont participé au concours Three Minute Thesis ce jeudi 1er mars. Seulement deux de ces courageuses étudiantes auront la chance de se mesurer aux étudiants des autres centres de l'INRS le 14 mars à midi lors de la finale inter-INRS.
Nous avons donc le plaisir d’annoncer nos deux finalistes qui sont :
- Danielle Frechette, étudiante du professeur Normand Bergeron, de l’équipe de géomorphologie et habitat fluvial dont le sujet est : Impacts of colonization of novel habitats on the population productivity of anadromous Atlantic salmon.
- Mitra Naghdi, de l’équipe Biovalorisation et contaminants émergents avec la professeure Satinder Kaur Brar et dont le sujet de recherche est : Removal of carbamazepine from water and wastewater using biochar-enzyme impregnated nano systems (BENS).

Three students from INRS-Centre Eau Terre Environnement: Danielle Frechette, Mitra Naghdi and Amal Hmaissia participated to the Three Minutes Thesis contest last Thursday. Only two ot thees brave student willl have the chance to compete against the students of the other INRS centres on March 14th at noon for the INRS final.
We have the pleasure to announce the finalists:
- Danielle Frechette, student of Professor Normand Bergeron, of the geomorphology and fluvial habitat team whose subject is: Impacts of colonization of novel habitats on the population of anadromous Atlantic Salmon
- Mitra Naghdi, from the Biovalorisation and Emerging Contaminants team with Professor Satinder Kaur Brar, whose research topic is: Removal of carbamazepine from water and wastewater using biochar-enzyme impregnated nano systems (BENS).
